Ingredients:

3/4 cup thinly sliced ginger (I used potato peeler)

1/2 cup water

1/2 teas. salt

1 tbsp. sugar

2 tbsp. rice vinegar

Recipe:

Put peeled ginger in a bowl

Boil water and salt, separately on stove

Pour boiled water in the bowl on ginger

Let stand 2 min.

Drain water and save

Add sugar and vinegar to saved water, stir well, till dissolved

Then add to ginger

Let stand 2 hours or over night.
