This is my Semi-Homemade recipe.

When I go to a restaurant I do not like Alfredo.  This recipe has butter and olive oil so it is not like paste, and not so thick!


1/2 of diced onion

1 tbsp. salted butter

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 cloves of crushed garlic

1 tea. Italian seasoning

1 tbsp. parsley

1 tsp. lemon juice

1/3 cup sherry

1 lb cooked d-veined  large shrimp

1 jar of Alfredo Sauce

1/4 cup water

1 lb. angel hair pasta

2 tbsp. sea salt


First start water for pasta.

Salt large pot of water with 2 tbsp. of sea salt and bring water to a boil.

Boil pasta, follow package directions. Cook drain.

In a separate pan saute for a few minutes, onion, salted butter and olive oil.


Then add crushed garlic; Saute a couple of minutes.


Add Italian seasoning, parsley, and lemon juice. Saute for a minute.

Then add sherry; cook for  2 min.



I used large cooked shrimp.


Add Alfredo sauce to onion saute mixture. Rinse out jar with 1/4 cup water and stir all together; let simmer 5 min.


Then add cooked large shrimp; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.  Serve on cooked pasta.

So yummy!  Enjoy!
